Routine Annual Exams and Pap Smears

As with most things early detection is key, so getting your screens done on a yearly basis is important to your health.

Menopause Management

  • When considering Hormone Replacement Therapy it is a good idea to call your insurance prior to your appointment to see what they will cover.   
  • Hot flashes, night sweats, and mood swings can interfere with your daily life. Make an appointment with a provider to learn about and discuss your ideal options for menopause management, including hormone replacement therapy.

In Office Ultrasound and Lab

Our office has now partnered with AEL to provide an in office laboratory to have your blood drawn without having to go anywhere else. Our lab is open Monday thru Friday from 8-4:30.

Reversible Contraception

When considering your Birth control options it is a good idea to call your insurance to see what they will cover prior to your appointment.IUD (Intruterine Device)

  • Paragard

Diaphragm

  • 94% effective
  • Inserted into the vagina every time you have sex; Can be done 6-8 hours before
  • There are a variety of sizes and you would need to be fitted here at the office. At this visit we would also give instructions on how to use the device.
  • The diaphragm does not protect against HIV. There is a mild reduction of the risk of some STD’s.

Birth Control Pills

  • 99% effective
  • Your provider would be happy to discuss the many varieties of B pills with you to determine which is the best fit for you
  • The pill should be taken at the same time every day to be most effective
  • It does not protect you against STD’s or HIV.

Vaginal Ring

  • 99% effective
  • The ring is inserted into the vagina each month and is left in for 3 weeks. On week 4 you do not wear the ring. 
  • The ring does not protect you against STD’s or HIV

Contraceptive Injections (Depo Provera)

  • 99% effective
  • Injections are administered in office every 3 months
